EWW!
I have a few and wash them regularly. Although I am not sure how effective that is for "saving". I often get my meats in paper, we burn the paper in the bonfire and use the bags for other things.
Grrrr I can't get the video

ugh! I heard about this on another site. I'm definitely going to start washing mine. I use them for weekly CSA pickups so I put produce directly in them.
Revelation!
Never thought about that - but it makes such sense. I will definitely be getting out my Clorox wipes to clean out my grocery tote bags!

OK - that totally grossed me out. If I ever go green with my grocery bags, I'd love to buy some of those really roomy canvas ones that I see on Etsy.

I knew about this as I had
I knew about this as I had hamburger meat leak into one of the bags before. I may go back to plastic just for the raw meats and use the cloth for all the rest. At least the plastic wont leak the juices into the car.
Off to wash my bags . . .
It never even occurred to me. I have a big load of green bags to wash :)
