Today’s topic at momdot is “6 names I liked, but opted not to name my child or children.”
1. Lily, because its my favorite flower.
2. Brooke, because you dont hear that name as much anymore.
3. Joey, my husbands name is Joe.
4. Dawson, it was different but my friends said it would make them think of the whiny Dawson from the show so no go.
5. Maximus, my husband was dead set on this name after watching Gladiator. We are short people and in 5 minutes one of our family friends came up with play ground jokes. This kid would have been beat up on the play ground for having a name that could finish the word gluteus and because he wouldn’t be big enough to live up to his name.
6. We couldn’t get my husband off of the Maximus kick so I came up with a name that I pretended that I couldn’t live without. Tyson, cancelled out Maximus finally. I do like the name Maximus just not on someone who is going to be 5’6” at the most.
What were yours.

This week at momdot.com the topic is 6 things that I love to eat, but rarely get to because at least one other person in your household does not care for it.”
This is a difficult topic as my husband is not picky like me. This small talk six list will have to be the other way around. I am the one who doesnt like half of the things that the boys and dad will eat so here is the list of foods that I dont go out of my way to make or buy for them.
1. Cold pizza
2. Peanut butter and jelly sandwiches
3. Salt and vinegar chips
4. Chip and mint ice cream
5. Fat free milk
